Turn Your Cellphone into a WiFi Hotspot

I am constantly amazed at the rapid rate of evolution of the mobile world, and how clever people quickly come up with new ideas, this being one of them.

Yes, you can now turn your data enabled cellphone into your own personal mobile hotspot.

There are several ways to do it, some methods requiring additional hardware (built-in phone WiFi not required) and some software-only solutions (provided your phone has built-in WiFi).

Be careful, though, as you may violate your cellphone provider's TOS (Terms of Service) agreement, as it is really a form of tethering that also allows for more than one computer to use the mobile internet connection simultaneously.

This is not something I need, or plan to use, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
